EXHIBITION 'Soft Season' by Jude Maddalozzo

This exhibition brings together the Soft Season and Colours collections, inspired by the gentle blooms of springtime in Sydney and the ever-changing beauty of my own garden.

Flowers sit at the heart of my work, not only for their beauty but for what they hold. Through colour, texture and rhythm my paintings explore growth, renewal and the quiet magic found in every day life. 

New buds mingle with full blooms to create an eternal bunch of flowers - inviting the garden indoors.

I work intuitively, crafting the blooms in soft layers and letting colour lead the mood - from muted pastels that evoke tenderness and a soft unfolding to brighter hues that celebrate growth, vitality and light. The colours almost dance onto the canvas until they all find a happy balance. I like to let the painting evolve and be guided by the energy of the process.

This collection is created straight from the heart. My hope is that every painting leaves you feeling joyful, loved and warmly hugged!
