Happy Bday Country Style!

This year, Country Style Magazine are celebrating their 30th birthday and I couldn't think of a more deserving publication to reach this milestone. Country Style have always been so supportive of country people, businesses and producers. In today's digital world, it's a testament to their team that it continues to prosper.

Their amazing birthday issue hit the shelf last week honoring 30 People Changing Regional Australia, and incredibly, they included me! As a long-time fan of Country Style Mag, this just BLEW ME AWAY, especially because I am in the company of some seriously outstanding people (we've featured a couple below)! Make sure you get your hands on this collector's edition - it is the most spectacular read!

You can read about the full amazing list of people HERE and cast your vote on who should win the People's Choice Award. Just by voting, you go in the draw to win an amazing weekend for two at The Byron at Byron Bay!!! Did I mention I am a great travel companion? Promise to hold your bags if you win!

I am SO excited to be attending their 30th Birthday Gala Ball at Carriageworks in Sydney next Thursday 30th May. This is going to be the most fabulous celebration of regional people and I can't wait to get dressed up and join in on the fun. If you'd like to attend, tickets are still on sale and you can purchase them here!

I hope to see you next Thursday! Pip xxx

COUNTRY STYLE NOMINEE | The Archibald & Bell Boys

Henry Bell and his cousins Jack, Rob and Ed Archibald (fellas I actually met back in high school) took part in the gruelling 1000km Mongol Derby in Mongolia to raise awareness and funds for MS Research Australia. They raised over $195,000 and are SO deserving of this nomination! Best of luck boys!

COUNTRY STYLE NOMINEE | Jemima, Saddler & Co

I first worked with Jemima from Saddler & Co on a shoot for Graziher Magazine and it was the most WONDERFUL experience!! I adore the work she and her husband Bede do - particularly their amazing leather bags (see below!). Jemima is as clever as she is kind, and I can't wait to work with her again!

COUNTRY STYLE NOMINEE | Laetitia Prunetti & Jessica Booth

Jessica and Laetitia are the insanely talented founders of Willie Weston, an ethical textile and social enterprise based in Melbourne. They create the most spectacular fabrics and wallpapers designed by indigenous artists. The artists who collaborate with Willie Weston are paid per meter of fabric produced and I dream of using their fabrics in our new home!

I have been a HUGE fan of Joost after seeing his amazing home in a magazine many years ago. His work in sustainable projects, building design and floral creations are out of this world! I will have to try really, REALLY hard not to fan-girl Joost when I see him at the ball!

Word on the street, is that there's still a handful of tickets left to the Country Style Inaugural Ball next Thursday 30th May. I'm heading down and can't wait to celebrate all the amazing nominees with a sneaky champers or two! Click here to get your tickets!

Fancy a little Byron Bay getaway? You could be up for a weekend for two thanks to The Byron at Byron Bay, simply by voting for your fave Country Style Top 30 Inspirational People. To read the profiles of all 30 nominees, click here!
