Welcome Jessie Breakwell!

People often ask me “how do you know what to buy for Jumbled?”, but really it is so simple... I just stock exactly what I want in my own home and I cross my fingers that there is someone out there that feels the same as I do. The art of Jessie Breakwell is one of those MUST HAVE dream pieces that I would LOVE in my own home.

I first saw one Jessie’s Zebra artworks in the background of a Pooccio photo shoot and instantly fell in love. After much searching and then a little bit of stalking, Jessie has allowed Jumbled to stock some of her artworks. This has been a long time in the making, so I am just so pumped that the day is here and I can share our new artworks and more about Jessie with you all.

Jessie’s work is offbeat, quirky and full of wonder. She is strongly influenced by Brett Whiteley and French Fauvist artist Henri Matiss. Jessie’s paintings are vibrant and fun. “I don’t like to take life too seriously,” Jessie says. “I’m not into realism, there’s enough drama going on in the world at the moment so I prefer to take a lighter look at life. ” And that she does!

Jessie has studied fine art and painting at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and held successful exhibitions at Picasso Gallery in London, the posh Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles and sell-out openings in Melbourne. She has owned her own interactive gallery in Melbourne’s stylish High Street and enjoyed an eye-opening stint as art tutor to the wildly wild Ozzy Osbourne children.
