In this series, Gorman explores the effect of repetition in pattern making. Reflecting her works vertically and horizontally in the traditional format of textile design, the piece expands. It's as though the lens has been zoomed out to reveal a larger piece, one that could continue to expand infinitely as a true repeat pattern can.
