Original artwork by Amanda Hinkelmann
Amanda is a proud Wiradjuri woman from Wagga Wagga
This artwork tells the story of how people can read each other without speaking, and how messages can be delivered without the need for words.
Intuitively, we know when someone needs a cuddle, a meal dropped off, or that friendly phone call. And it’s between these gestures, unspoken, or between words we can understand each other.
Those around me and particularly my close friends, my sister and my mother are the people that quite often read between the spaces when I need them the most- and these spaces, speak volumes.
